Semi-random and hopefully unique things Bethesda could do to

More immersive and realistic conversations

I know Bethesda's already greatly improving the dialogue system... you and the person you're talking to can both move around now during dialogue, and they can continue doing tasks, right? It would be cool if they took this one step forward. Imagine if you're walking down a town and someone initiates conversation with you from behind. Then you can choose to turn around or not, and maybe the dialogue would reflect that. Or imagine if your sitting down at a bar and the person next to you starts talking to you while you both face forward. After you two exchange a few words he introduces himself and you can choose to shake hands.

SHAKING HANDS! THE NEXT GREAT FEATURE! Lol, it sounds stupid now that I've written it.

Also, entertainment should be added to Skyrim. Comedians, singers, plays... that would be amazing.

We don't know how dynamic they'll be, or how much a part of dialogue, but we can expect a lot more in the way of "ambient" animations (NPCs playing instruments, leaning on things, etc). And there are animations for crafting, which the player character can perform as well.

I think one thing that seriously helps immersion dispite how 'minor' some people consider it, is realistic animations. Imagine Fallout New Vegas if it took you a realistic amount of time to reload each gun, instead of the 1-2 seconds it does. That would help SO much.

This sounds a lot like what Fable 3 did with the "hand holding" system]

two thing, and it sounds like they've already done it, but I'd rather not get my hopes up.

families. Given Nord culture, and importance on clan and kin, I'm hoping it's something that had a lot of time spent on it. Consider how many Nords talk about their Father's Father's Father.

taverns/Inns. One of my secret pre-release fantasies about Oblivion, was heading into a local inn-bar and just sitting in a corner watching the Radiant AI do it's thing (I had pretty unrealistic expectations though). I was pretty disappointed with how dead most of the inns and taverns felt. Though a few, particularly the ones in the middle-of-nowhere, had a lot of atmosphere built around them. If only they seemed a bit more "Alive".

Morrowind did that already (kinda). Desele's House of Earthly Delights (in the town of Suran) had prosttutes, which is close enough.

Only if we can have an annoying Male Wood Elf do the comedy voiced by the same male wood elf voice from Oblivion.

http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0781130/. He also voiced Butch DeLoria, Billy Creel, Crazy Wolfgang, Andy Stahl, Alex Dargon, Tom Holden, Freddie Gomez, Paul Hannon Jr., Ted Strayer, Wally Mack, and Sergeant Bejamin Montgomery (and a bunch of others) in Fallout 3. So, he might have a part in Skyrim.
