Senche or Pahmer Armor

Post » Sat Feb 19, 2011 5:22 am

I have no idea what you want to show me with this picture... all you want is a leather belt??

I am not really impressed by the concept.

Here is something a tad bit better.

A nice variety of cat armors to choose from! I could imagine large Pahmer or Senche Khajiit standing guard in Elsweyr in that chainmail, or in Rimmen in that samurai-ish armor.

So, what do you say? better than a belt and leather pants?

Oh, and this isn't for me... But Elsweyr and Rimmen enthusiasts, feel free to back me up here....

EDIT: For those who don't know what Pahmer or Senche are, they're a breed of Khajiit, drawn nicely here: http://www.tamriel-rebuilt.org/?p=conceptart§ion=15266

And if that is not impressive enough I would like http://www.planetvideo.com.au/blog/2009/08/29/ninja_turtles.jpg. Thanks Mr Siika!

But the cat samurai armor is cool too!

EDIT: And while you're at it you could also make some enemies for the samurai cats. http://api.ning.com/files/1O3deYhm4lN5DC*TIwaubM99ZFJ4xE3wmulfOrF2fp-zpESagHuLLY4PRrlHrJVhkctWqYEV*devPVKug1iBGhJze2GiTrmp/NinjaMouseA1.jpg

DAMN!!!!! this armor is so epic it blows half the custom armor mods I have seen out of the water! I would quit my current running character just to play as a *cough* mountain lion so I could wear this epic armor!

I see what you did there. <_<

Definitely cooler than my request for cat armour (though I wanted thief stuff, not warrior stuff).
Good luck!

The top-left and middle-right ones look awesome! It would be great to see something like this in Elsweyr.

It's called forum-judo. :D

On the other hand, I am trying to find a light armor or leather equivalent, but not having any luck atm.

And if that is not impressive enough I would like these armors.

There are Pahmar in Mart's Monster Mod.

I really don't want to see those vicious buggers with armor.

Well, you don't have to. :P

They already have minimal armor anyway, don't they? I think I saw one with a helmet.

Yes, they look http://members.iinet.com.au/~amills/mmm16-pahmar.jpg. Would be cool with some variants.

Thanks Arkngt. That's the picture I remember.

Dunno if I'm satisfied with the helmet though. :P

I would agree. In addition to Pahmar and Senche, there is also Pahmer-Raht and Senche-Raht.

And, I think this is the order, in terms of size: Pahmer, Pahmer-Raht, Senche, Senche-Raht. The Senche are big enough to be used as mounts, and the Senche-Raht are big enough to be used as war mounts, so I'm putting forth the idea that they should have a saddle as well.

Now you have just have to imagine two big cats, each as large as a horse, decked out in full metal armor, sitting on either side of a door. It would take some real guts and skill to try and sneak past those guards... :ninja:

This kinda died. I think it deserves one bump. Especially since we haven't heard from the star of the hour yet. Busy doing wonders for High Rock, I suppose. ;)

I don't think it's nice to 'steal' requests from someone else but your pictures are interesting, no question.
I'll make a few 'experiments' to see if such an armor has enough potential.

I'm sorry if I sounded arrogant. It's just that IF I take a request and spend hours and hours of my time for that request, it HAS to something special and something I'd love to make.
Otherwise it's just 'work', and I have need for work is satisfied through my job ;-)

You are right - in part ;-)
I don't have as much time to spend on modding as I'd want at the moment...

In truth, I kinda started this thread half-jokingly. :P But I can't deny it was half-serious too. Still, your original quote was too good to pass up. Made me think of the "is not impressed" internet meme...

I agree that is wasn't nice to steal a request. And because of the half-serious nature of this thread, I'll extend my apologies to Jara of the Black Wind and offer this link http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=16109 Jara, thought you'd find it interesting. ;) Not exactly what you were looking for, but I was unable to find a good leather concept for us to enjoy.

It's okay, I love you again.

It's almost impossible to not love mr_siika for an extended amount of time. :D Like strupekutter has said, we'd live in caves without him.

BTW mr_siika, glad you're working for the Highrock project. The stuff you have made for that project is insanely good. Here's to the yet-to-be-had nonstop ride from Northpoint, High Rock, to Senchal, Elsweyr. Its not here yet, but I can feel it coming! :foodndrink:

EDIT: *cough cough* ...and not to mention, wasn't I supposed to be learning how to use blender and pull my own share of the weight around here? Gotta get back to that... :user:

It's cool. 2 requests are more effective than one. :)
Actually, I might be able to use that puss-in-boots race. Along with the same guy's http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=17087 and http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=25827, the right size and an AI routine that has the characters constantly sneak... I could make a pretty effective-looking housecat Alfiq. :)

Here's what I've got so far... not rigged yet.

I won't rig it to the standard mountain lion, but to the ridable version. Just in case.
