Since the game doesn't tell you how to do most things, not sure if anyone knows how to do this or not.

but when in workshop mode you just need to hit SQUARE ( on ps4) when click on a settler and you can send them to where ever you want.

OH also if you are having trouble getting settlers to go to those job stands usually if you command them near there first then assign them, they will stay assigned.

Also to get the money from the stores, the money is stored in your work bench.
