You can use the Sensual Walks Animations Installer to assign a different walk to classes of female NPCs. Vilja uses the "priest" walk, so you can chnage the animation used for priest and see if Vilja uses the new walk. The Installation Guide explains how to do this - no need to use CS at all, because Sensual Walks allows you to configure the animations associated with each type of female (or apply the same walk to all females).
Let me know if this helps.
Edit: If your character is using the original Mur_Ziks's sixy walk, then you may want to try some of the variations he produced, which speeds up the walk - if you have not already downloaded Mur_Ziks compilation, might be worth doing so - it is an OBMM install that includes all the sixy walks he has created and is menu driven.
Surazal,
Ok. Finally got some time to, um, play with this : )
First off, I had to update Better Cities as Oblivion would not load with the "old" (by a week or so) version of BC and the newest version of Sensual Walks. No big deal anymore as I now recognize the symptoms and go grab the latest version of BC. You probably say on your web site what version of BC should be used with the current version of Sensual Walks, so I just need to take the time to read more/better.
But, I report ............. SUCCESS!
I thought Vilja might be actually using your SW, but I just couldn't tell. So I used your instructions for customizing the Installer (wonderful, just wonderfully clear instructions by the way) and selected a much different walk. And, it worked!
So, for some reason, the default Vilja walk per your mod (I think Zur's slow walk? I forget) does not work for my game (not too surprising as I'm amazed my game runs at all with all the mods I've added : ) But, Zur's 25% faster walk with facial expressions works fine for Vilja. As does Umpa's.
Strange, but no biggie.
Again, thanks for the work. We all really appreciate it.
Of course, I did end up discovering one little minor issue with this mod and Zur's mod (well, walk mods in general). Nothing whatsoever wrong with your work, it's just a matter of physics really. I got (I think) Vilja and my PC to use the same walk. Unfortunately, Vilja is a Nord. And my PC is a cute elf. I think you can see where this is heading : ) Yes, different leg strides. So, even though they use the same "walk", my PC goes slower (much slower) than Vilja due to my PC taking shorter strides.
I think that means that when I get a "real" computer, and setup my "real" Oblivion game (I'm just practicing now and figuring out what type of game I like and what mods to use), that I will have to make my companions be the same height/race. That way, they will all stay together when using the same walk. Or, that's my theory.
Anyway, thanks for your help. I didn't try the "bash" file thing yet, because, well, I'm scared of it still. Here's my problem with bashing. You gave me (along with others) very clear instructions on how to bash my mod list. However, I've never (that I can remember) seen any instructions on how to "unbash" a set of mods. Be nice if there was a button you could click in WB to "revert" or "unbash" your bashed files (maybe there is such a button I have just haven't seen it). I assume that just deleting the bash file would work, except you'd have to remember what mods to enable again (I think when you bash some mods, it then unchecks those particular esps).
Thanks again,
Tarl
