Sep 3 Gamestop In-Store Footage - Dwemer Centurion

Post » Wed Sep 07, 2011 11:30 pm

I was just in my local gamestop. They where playing the usual loop of previews for upcoming games, and they inevitably got to Skyrim. They said all the usual with clips from the trailer spliced in (guy backstabbing someone in tavern, fighting off the big spider, etc.), but I noticed in the mix was a massive golden Dwemer enemy, most closely resembling a steam centurion. Does anyone know anything about this? I'm glued to the forums day in, day out; I don't think this would have gone unnoticed. Am I late to the party though?

Again, I've only ever seen this at gamestop. I've seen the trailer hundreds of times, I assure you my eyes haven't decieved me. Stop by your local gamestop and check it out (and then don't buy anything), because I sure can't find this clip anywhere.

(NOT THE SPHERE CENTURION FROM THE GAME INFORMER SOUND PREVIEW)

Hodd Toward? That sounds... so oddly familiar... I can't fut my pinger on it... Anyways, yes. Dwarven centurians were confirmed back in April or so, in a Gameinformer segment called "Sounds of Skyrim" or something.

They were CONFIRMED, but we still haven't seen them. We may have some new footage on our hands.

I can confirm this is thru. work at radioshack three doors down from gamestop. you have to watch their whole 15min loop but there is 2 close to 3 second clips unseen before. the first is a dragon landing classic feet slam down but before he hits the PC cast fireball hits mid air showing off x dam in y ft. Then second clip is if i could call myself a fan would have to say its a larger unseen steam centurion. seems to be running off blue magic/steam very very awesome very large enemy no dragon large but one big mfer.

Sorry it took so long. The good news is because it tool so long Pete Hines personally offered me a job at Bethesda's PR department. Let me know what you think.

Nice. That new clip with the dragon landing is cool too, they seem bigger than I remember.

Bad ass, I like the new look of them. They look a lot better than MW, and also all that steam coming out is crazy.

Thanks for taking the time to do that, btw.

Edit: By the MW thing I mean they look more sleek and aren't like giant, chunky http://blogs.amctv.com/scifi-scanner/Crimson_Dynamo_Armor_MK_I.jpg...

Not a problem. I had to create a YouTube account to do it 'cause apparently I'm the last person on Earth not to have one. But I know how good it feels to get even the slightest bit of new info. I'm happy to contribute.

There seems to be a good amount of monsters in Skyrim! More than Oblivion's dull and generic bestiary. :celebration:
