[Feature Request] Seperate buttons for grenade and powerbash

Post » Sun Mar 20, 2016 4:42 am

Is it possible to get these actions separated?

I understand that the console players have limited keys, but we PC users have a keyboard, there is no need for this to be on one key, a separate key option would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah it's annoying that you have to unequip grenades to punch people, couple of times I've tried to punch Marcy Long in the face and dropped a frag at our feet instead lol.

You are not the first (and not the last) who ask Bethesda to unlock key bindings, but no one listening.

I'm tired of the meaningless fight. They do not give a damn for the PC users.

I put Fallout away. I'll check the dlcs (bought season pass), but nothing more.

Fallout 5 maybe..

I lost my interest to the game because the zero support for PC users. (along with other users)

It would be nice to separate the key functions. I don't know how many times I've hit the Alt key (PC), meaning to throw a grenade or mine, only to rifle butt/bash the empty air.

Anybody complaining about this being "the fault" of consoles or a "PC user only issue" really needs to have a better understanding of games design.

As far as I can see it, for controllers, you could assign Activate/Ready Weapon/Holster Weapon/Reload all to one button. It'd create "some" conflict, but it's a concession that a lot of action-focused games have had to make. Or, you could reduce/change the favourite slots from 12 to 9 (or assign a fourth space to three of the directions). Either way, you can "free up" a button that way and remap accordingly from there.

It's a design oversight imo, and they probably thought it'd be something that players would become accustomed to.

I would love a separate button for them, I have constant issues with it as it is now!
