Damn Septims. :meh: But seriously, Andorak Septim's blood line would have first claim to the throne right, I mean their the only Septims left, post Oblivion crisis. I think the council would pardon his heritage and declare his family and descendants offically of Septim blood and allegable for the throne. Unless Ocato follows in my footsteps.
Or the council and majority of Tamriel dosen't agree with it.
Maybe. For the story of Oblivion to work we have to assume that no Septim from Tiber to Uriel VII ever had a sibling that didn't become Emperor, including Uriel VII. This is incredibly unlikely in royal families. More likely there are dozens of legitimate Septims floating around, and maybe hundreds of illegitimate heirs who could claim Septim blood.
Where did Cephorus II come from, for example? Obviously there were other Septim branches floating around. Pelagius III had a sister, Joelethe--odds are her descendants are still alive and kicking. Not to mention any siblings that Kintyra I, Uriel I, Uriel II, or Pelagius II may have had. So there are plenty of Septim heirs to go around, and that's not even taking into consideration the fact that Uriel's kids were all pushing 60--it strains believability that there aren't numerous
grandchildren of Uriel floating around.
