What is the most septims you have ever attained with one character?
The most I have acquired is 1.3 million septims with my lvl 81 Imerpial. He was one of my first characters.

Unfortunately the most septims I attained was was 85,000.
I don't remember the exact figure now. It was probably about 10,000.
A bit over 100,000. I've never played a character beyond level 41 or so, maybe one day I will.
The most I've possibly acquired was maybe 10,000.
Then again, I have never even hit level 50 or "made the most" out of looting/crafting.
Isn't that rather pitiful though? I mean I can attain that many septims within my first 7 levels of Skyrim.
I tend to dump the coins in a safe container so my PC never carries more than 40,000-ish (which is still pretty ridiculous, it should be something like 200). My current PC has around 600,000 saved septims at level 76ish. I've read here on the forums about stashes that exceed 1,200,000 septims. I'm not sure, but isn't there a cap after which there's a bug and something wonky happens to your amount?
Same here. Once Buffy has more than about 5K on her, she generally gives it to followers.
I don't know about a bug for that but my character has about half those septims on him and the other half are tucked away in the basemant safes of Lakeview Manor.
It got to the point where every dungeon dive was a 10k septim payday worth of loot.
BTW- This is the only character I have ever taken past lvl 50. Most of the time the RP of my character is over once he/she gets in the 40's.
Yeah, because comparing how much imaginary money we can earn in an imaginary game world really matters. We all could. It comes down to playstyle silly.
It's not a bug, merely a limitation from storing the value of septims saved as a 32-bit signed integer. The exact maximum value is 2,147,483,647. Anything larger than that will cause your septim amount to go negative.
I see, thanks. No worries about reaching a 2.1 billion septim max!
I highly doubt I'll ever hold on to that many Septims (and if so, keep them separately piled) but fun fact to know.
Yes, money is too easy to accumulate in Elder Scrolls games. My characters usually stop looting and selling stuff when they get to house-buying levels of cash, and only take enough income to keep up with outgo.
I can't remember for sure, but I know I've broken 2,000,000 before. I don't spend a lot of time paying attention to how much gold I have acquired, yet anyone who is intentionally looting and selling will in a normal playthrough make tons of it. My wealthiest character was a thief obsessed with the Crown of Barenziah, and all of his efforts were focused on obtaining it. I managed to get all the stones and the crown within the first few levels, pretty much guaranteeing that everything I looted was loaded with gems.
The most I would ever reach on any character is enough to buy them a house with it's upgrades, and that's only if they want a house. Aside from that most of the gold is given away to followers, beggars, donations. So we never have more than around 15,000 at once anymore.
