1. I start up Crysis in admin mode with all the ports and everything forwarded.
2. I click multiplayer
3. I click login because my information is saved
4. It sits for a few seconds at "Logging in"
5. It flashes to "checking permissions" and then gives me the error.

I've been playing almost every day since the day I bought the game and this message pops up today. As of, fifteen minutes ago.

I haven't done anything to my files, I purchased the game from direct2drive, I have a screenshot of my receipt and serial key. They are ALL valid. Why am I being labeled invalid by the system? What is going on with this login server?

I can understand any other issue. But one conflicting with people's ability to take advantage of the entire multiplayer side of the game is horrible. Please assist with this bug. I haven't had this issue once until fifteen minutes ago.

Yup, I'm in the same boat. Mine came from an amazon.com download however..

Same here got mine off EA

I contacted EA support through the site. They didn't seem like they were doing anything but nevertheless. I retyped my cd-key in during the conversation and it worked!

What's even more strange is the operator told me to turn off my antivirus and firewall then try it. I don't have antivirus and I didn't feel like searching for my win7 firewall so I just tried again. I hope you guys luck out like I did! Sorry that I don't have any useful advice, just try typing it in again.

With this error, it should be a simple matter of entering a valid, unused CD key. If you have one, and you're 100% sure you typed it in correctly and you still get this error then you should contact EA support.

i have the same exact problem, and i bought the limited edition from game store, reserved since the day they put it in their release list, im very very unhappy with so many issues, like key not being saved, so many cheaters, multiplayer random reset, module tracking not being saved either, nanosuit module and weapon unlockers being reset too... next time i think im not buying the game =( if theres a crysis 3...

EDIT: How to fix?

Close the game and run it through EA Download Manager
Update the game (its automatic)*
Retype the KEY in CAPS**
Play the game

* If you have any trouble you need manual patching
** If it still doesnt work, type it again until it works

its ok calling sons of b*tches those who called you troll but not the entire forum, just try to solve it for yourself and share it, because you are saving 28907423 people time, however if your serial is hacked then you are screwed anyway because with the patch your account will be cancelled then
