Lower-case worked for me, don't need to re-enter it again, got everything fixed. Thank you very much!

doesnt work for me.

lets see:

- cant login with my main account because it was created through the website earlier
- created an account ingame, lost my favorite nickname
- wow, login succesfull
- game doesnt remember my cd key
- used the fix, which I found here
- yay, game remembers my key
- tried "quick game" - no matter what I chose: "No games found"
- tried joing a game manually
- errormessage "key already in use"
- tried to enter my key with lowercases, like crytek said
- doesnt work "key already in use"
- NO, I WONT USE A RANDOM LETTER IN MY KEY, I WANT TO USE THE KEY I PAID 50 BUCKS FOR

sorry, but I NEVER(!) had a release like this. And I am a gamer for more than 15 years now.

i tried lowercase from startup, uppercase, mixedcase - with minus and without

game activation was fine, but multiplayer says my key is still in use. very frustrating when you paid 50 euro - maybe i'll get another copy from my store where i bought it?

My Account doesnt work 2 now yet,so i make a new 1 and was happy 2 join mp.But now my serial key is in use and i cant still play.Wow allways same **** on first days of release.Hope its get fiexd fast or i must still stay at COD!!

Sigh. It didn't work for me.

I must say, I'm pretty disappointed. Crytek screwed up on this one. I mean, the game is fun and everything, but WHERE THE HELL IS DX11!!! One of the worst releases I've ever heard about. You can't play DX11, you can't use sandbox editor, you can't get your limited edition content, and you can't play multiplayer.

I feel like Crytek let me down, which I never thought I'd have to write...

I sure hope it's fixed by the end of next week, or I'll be seriously agitated.

YOU COULD DO BETTER CRYTEK! Seriously, warn people that there's no DX11. Oh, wait. If you had, I guess I wouldn't have bought it till it arrived. I feel cheated.

Is it possible to get a reaction from crytek? What should I do? Send the game back where I bought it? I bought it because of the multiplayer, and due the "key already in use" issue I cant play multiplayer at all -.-

Page is only 4 sites long (so only a few players are having this problem) and marked as a "possible fix" which dont works for me.

okay folks, 2 hours google and I fixed the problem by myself:

1. Do the "remember key" fix (http://www.gamesas.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=40&t=11741, type key in lower cases)
2. Log into multiplayer and join an EMPTY server
3. Now you can join a server with people in it.

worked for me after only typing the key in lower cases didnt work!!!!!!!!!

wow great key problem is fixed but now ... lost connectiton to host every time on every server veeeeeeeery nice crytec

Just used an imaginary code that fits with the pattern and it worked.

and my original key didnt work, lol...

I specifically bought GTX-580 and where DX11 and why the key is ever used. Bad single, bad multiplaer!

How long to wait for that fix

The Multiplayer-Serial-To-Single-To-Multiplayer-Serial worked. Finally.

"Connection to host failed" is far too often. However, there are some that works. Always servers with funny names, and that aren't systematically organized.

Whatever problem we encounter now is a part of the process. We need to stop taking things so personally, but trust me.. I was furious last night.. I was so pumped about this game, and then error after error.. Eventually I fixed 2 issues by myself and then this serial-issue from forums.

Yeah I had to do all lower case with no dashes, worked FINALLY. No problems with gamespy login or the promo code.

Now only if the servers would work....

what mean?? please tell me the step,i also got the problem
