A serious concern regarding gold

If you own a computer, you can mod gold to make it more difficult. If you don't- you can always just give a crap ton to a begger.

That would only be awesome to me if the next time I went to that town and saw that guy he was wearing some expensive threads and walking around all high and mighty. I mean, if it is the equivalent of winning the lottery, then the guy should absolutely go off his nut due to the money changing him......haha.

This was a serious problem for me in Oblivion but not so much in Fallout 3. I don't mind there being lots of gold but there needs to be something to spend it on.

Otherwise the alternative is to go for the Fallout option which is to make it a bit more rare and therefore at the same time giving it more value
