Kuertee has discovered a serious problem with using the Alias method see here:

If I were to acquire actors, I would do so using the alias method. But I don't need to for any of my current mods. I'll keep this in mind.

The actors I currently use and plan to use would not use force greet packages. These include animals and generic NPCs, as well as shop owners.

I use the quest method in the new Inigo 2.1 scripts, but not in the context Kuertee describes. I'm searching for nearby horses but only when the player is talking to Inigo.
