Angarvunde and the dunmer is Medresi Dran.
They always have modern Altmer elven armour on them for me. Almost every single time regardless of level if not Elven then modern Steel.
Angarvunde. Has a dungeon quest all its own called Medresi Dran and the Wandering Dead. She wants you to help her get the treasure, and gives you a key. Most of the loot / plunder in the dungeon is random. I was there a couple of days ago, and everything seemed fine as far as the quest was concerned. She does mention that her followers that she had with her took off.
You may not want to trip over the million year old Ancient Dark brotherhood armor that looks like current DB armor. Or how the silver hand can totally tell that Farkas #1 is a companion by the wolf armor he wears.
Like you said, you are supposed to pretend (I mean "roleplay") it is actually old and that Farkas #1 is wearing wolf armor.
But they ran off because of the three draugr seen outside of the two sealed rooms. So I believe from the context that at the first sight of danger, they ran. Before they even got to the two locked rooms.
Huh.
I understand your problems with the game (I share them as well) however, I just stopped playing after My mind couldn't fake it any longer.
For me, skyrim is like take out.
Eat it too often and I hate it.
Eat it once a week and I love it.
Just play other games.
I think it bothered more than normal because of the lack of an actual "reward" in this game.
One, it was a quest I hadn't done before
Two, my character is a mage scholar researcher/ treasure hunterer by hobby
Three, I was really hoping for something more.
I think I was mad more with the quest. There was a reason why, I put it in the boring items thread. Basically, I wanted something other than the generic, Dragon Wall and Treasure chest with common item combo. I did the Gundlars Legend, Red Eagle, I got the Ghostblade, etc. I didn't even care if this was just some common sword with the Avnu name on it. But I didn't want that.
Here was the perfect combo that got me excited
-A quest I hadn't done
-A ruin, in character RP, that had been newly discovered
-Had high hopes, and he was expecting much more
Should have known those Imperials were a bunch of necrophiliacs.
Enesia is less upset now, he got the book Delphine and Farengar were researching. Now his own research will be leagues above.
Still don't understand why Farengar doesn't recognize you as a mage, despite having 50 in destruction, 50 in Restoration, and 50 in Enchantment. All Enesia does is burn things unless they resist his Heat. His Hotness.
ha you make a point but it's still a game, the random loot is generated everywhere and makes little sense in certain inventories...why do skeletons sometimes have potions in their inventory and where do they stash it?
The better question about the ancient dungeons is who's keeping the fires burning?
Every game has its fair share of nonsense but I think you may have a bit of an OCD with the details of this game
Oh for an ignore button.
I keep setting off "Runes of Whiney Attention Seeking" everywhere I go here these days.
And I can't seem to avoid them. They're in many of the threads.
It REALLY takes a lot of the fun out of this forum.
The game's not perfect. We know that. It doesn't need to be shoved down our throats constantly.
I'M still having lots of fun with it.
And then I come here....
It is constantly said, that the quickest way to ruin a gaming franchise for you is to visit it's community.
Up until fairly recently that has not been a problem for me.
There's another fine old saying that goes "Spare the rod, spoil the child".
Well, while I absolutely encourage roleplay and immersion, you also have to get that Skyrim is also a game. And in games, weird things are bound to happen. Sometimes you just have to not think about it too much. Randomly generated loot and NPCs, for example; which is where I think this problem lies. There are some things you can't really control, because its a game mechanic. In Oblivion, there were petty bandits running around in Daedric Armor. Did it make sense? Not in the slightest. But it's just how the game set up, and you gotta roll with the punches.
When I'm deep in the mood of RP'ing and I see something funny, I'll still laugh. Like when I was RP'ing my blooming soon-to-be psychopathic DB assassin, when I found a goat stuck head-first in the snow in Windhelm. I laughed and looked at it, snapped a pic, and went on. Weird things will always happen.
Well it was slightly that Enesia was sad he didn't get anything cool.
He has that Gar...Amulet thing.
Red Eagle Sword
a Ghost Blade
It all goes into his hoardy cabinet in the College.
Half the college always sees him as the weird guy who has his dragon ancient nord research sponsored by the college. And he comes back with a satchel full of potions he doesn't need, but he's going to experiment with ancient ingredients. [since he focuses on restoration and destruction magic]
He's half hoarder, half treasure hunterer, all mage scholar. He just has some psychopathic tendencies and some mild obsession.
"Oh for an ignore button"
YAY! Found it. It's under Member Profile.
You know I find that comment above rude ^
I did nothing wrong. Other than vent my frustration. Back to playing with Enesia
All that effort, you could have just left the thread? there's an attention getter here and its not the OP.
There's also this thing called, "Don't read the thread."
As for the Imperial Armor, I'd actually prefer finding the higher leveled loot. Imagine clearing out a dungeon and all you got off the corpses and chests were some old armor and weapons, maybe a few ruined books. Because that's all that would be left if the corpses weren't already turned to ash. Sure, it's good for the "immersion" aspect, but there would be no reward, literal-wise.
Any suggestions on something unique quest wise?
1000 hours and I've never seen such thing. Were you doing Meridia's quest?
