Seriously? A kid?

Post » Thu Dec 08, 2011 6:38 pm

So, I can't kill children in Skyrim. Well, I never had any desire to do so, until now. A kid hired contract killers because I 'stole something' (Cant remember what). Seriously? If someone isn't killable in a game, don't let them [censored] hire people to kill you. Its so [censored] stupid that my Khajiit who, while not killing people for no reason, has very little regard for human life, would let someone get away with hiring thugs to kill them.

Another [censored] part about these thugs is that I was just outside Solitude so ran inside.. and the [censored] imperial soldiers wouldn't help me.. EVEN THOUGH I'M A [censored] IMPERIAL. (EDIT to clarify, I mean part of the Legion)

I am playing on Expert and was only at level 7, but playing so if I die I have to spend 10 days injured in a town, cant wait and cant sleep more than 14 hours. Each hit from the leader of these guys would take about 60hp and I ended up using a bunch of poisen and health pots just to survive.

Hold on... A kid hired people to kill your Khajiit, but the same thugs were trying to kill your Imperial?

Also, those are some pretty hardcoe limitations to set upon yourself :o

I think he was with the imperial legion and a khajiit. Confused me at first though.

Yeah sorry, with the legion, edited my post.

Will be getting mods asap. There's no way this is going unpunished.

& Yeah I got bored on my first character just loading up when I died, so I started again and tried to make it all 'real' and stuff like everyone goes on about.. No fast travel etc. Its actually quite entertaining, though, quite frustrating.

Wait... so if you die, you punish yourself by spending 10 game days "resting" in town without using more than 14 hours of sleep/wait (a day I presume)? So you just stand on a bed, staring at the screen (or maybe walk away afk or something I guess...) for 20 (real) minutes... rest 14 hours... wait 20 minutes... ect., 10 times in a row?

Wow?

Nah, like the first few days I cant leave the Inn or whatever, the next few I cant leave the town, the next few I can leave town but cant run or engage in combat or do alchemy (if I do I reset the days) and afterwards I can run but no combat.. etc. I have some random rules set in place.. Its really annoying, yet quite interesting too.

Just a heads up but talking about killing children is a restricted topic on this forum. Also don't direct someone to where they can modify their game as such as I'm pretty sure that also falls under restricted

Ouch.
I had the inkeeper from Riverwood do it to me. I backstabbed him and killed all the witnesses.
He made me angry...

Get the contract off the thugs, and find whose signature is on it.

One question.

Why did he have to hire thugs? If I were an invincible, four-foot powerhouse, I'd chase the [censored] that stole my stuff down and kidney-punch his ass to death.
