Seriously, what is wrong with these legendaries?

Post » Fri Feb 19, 2016 2:28 am

Just took out 2 legendary level 49 mongrels, while heading out to a site that i was for sure was gonna be at least one other legendary. Both of them dropped leather shoulderpads or arms whatever they were they looked like stupid shoulder pads... Cool so i got gyped there. Moved on to a worksite that had a legendary super mutant commander, and he was accompanied by one the super mutant hounds that was also legendary. dog was 47 and super mutant was 59... GUESS WHAT? 2 more leather piece drops... WTF!? Seriously, killing level 40+ legendaries and still getting level 1 drops. Man, I want my money back, i feel like im getting robbed here.

Not just legendaries. I magically entered Vault 75. The place is littered with Gunners, who were harder than a I do not know what crawled up their ass. I get a legendary, get a [censored] boxing glove. Than! To top it all, there's still a floodgate of gunners and I clear Vault 75, all my ammo because Gunners are bullet spongers, health items, are gone. And I got absolutely nothing, but crap from Vault 75. Nothing cool. Nothing awesome. For losing literally everything in my inventory. Not worth it.

Turning up the difficulty level significantly increases the chance of legendary enemies/drops.

That`s actually part of the fun.

Problem with turning up the difficulty, I am waiting for a game that recognizes: Turning up Difficulty = Turning Enemies in Bullet Sponges

There has to be a way to balance it out. Till I find that balance in a video game. I do not want to fight enemies who soak up damage unnaturally and then heal themselves while doing so.

Just today I fought against a legendary Mirelurk Razorclaw. After dispatching it and patting myself on the back for doing it with a minimum amount of health loss (caught me off guard) I went to loot the corpse, only to find out I had been robbed. Not only was there no legendary item to be looted, there was nothing there othere than simple mirelurk meat.

Not getting those drops when you fight those sorts of enemies does svck, but it's not the end of the world, and certainly not worth demanding our money back.

Well, I have played on very easy to very hard and I can tell that amount drops not that different. You may get better items on very hard yes, but I sure got something really good on "easy" setting. Whatever folks says, "luck" may count a little as well. On very hard I still get these rolling pins and other "kitchen tools". Btw, who drop the best was actually these insects believe or not, but who figure these can carry missile launchers. What I do, walking around and shoot even small ordinary insects, because next time some of these can be upgraded to legendary.

I would have stopped playing this game 300 hours ago if I found everything I wanted when I wanted lol

I am still looking for maybe 4-5 more legendary weapons I want to try out.

That`s why my game is still running after 500 hours.

95% of all legendary I have found, not usefull so I stash them away. Mine game will be running after level 200 I think. Long time to next game from Bethesda, but I still have something to do in Skyrim as well.

Cheers,
