Seriously why do you care?
Its a SP game. How someone else chooses to play doesn't affect you.
Still if you're interested I'll try to explain. Its a RPG. I'm RPing a character with emotions, ambitions, a personality etc. Its a bit more of what makes the character feel like fully-fledged character and not a cardboard cutout to me.

I roleplay a goblin that habitually can't stop touching himself in in my nerd herd's weekly D&D game. It adds a story element and a point of view that one may not have had before in the game. Not the touching yourself but the marriage.

Isn't real life 'bad' enough? Skyrim has 0 of the negative sides and (nearly) none of the actually good sides. All you get is food.

Skyrim wives can make you dinner while wearing sixy leather or armour as if it was natural...and wield swords, axes or maces... And kill monsters....... Plus they like RPG games...

Perfect wife <3

Who wouldn't want to marry one?

Dude, this is a fantasy game with fantasy marriages. It's all sweaty six and mead bought with dowry gold.
