There is a server for EU players the server is just located in NA and will be moved to an EU location after launch.

They have EU servers. They just are not located at their final destination at launch and will be migrated elsewhere in the days to follow(or weeks, whatever)

The EU server is in the US until they migrate it to wherever they are moving it to.

I'll be honest I'd rather one server not split at all.

80-120ms isn't bad.

I honest see what big deal is for as i was EU server in last beta i did not feel any lag at all.

I have more problem with US server when i was on that one will lag.

So EU server is not in EU yet so what is big deal with honest we should be happy that we play

I get the impression they want to keep it all close at hand until they have a blueprint for success that they can recreate abroad. There's no substitute for real numbers (not even weekend stress tests and educated guesses).

That's a good point, if something goes wrong with either of the servers at least they'll be able to deal with it quicker if it's all in the same place.

Given the megaserver structure the ability to add extra servers to either from a common pool to manage the load till they settle down is likely a big reason for this. Combine this with having everything in one place for other launch tech issues and it makes sense from a tech perspective.

Lag seemed acceptable in the stress tests, had far worse on EU based servers, both network and server lag.
