Haha, I'm a bit better now. I've decided to just pretend it doesn't exist, like all of his other shows.

Never cared much for The Flintstones, even as a kid. So he can go ahead and ruin it.

It's crazy how many people can predict the future here.

Heh, yeah. Honestly, it'll probably be ok, but I doubt I'll watch it unless it turns out to be really good. I never did care for the Flintstones.

Guys, guys.

He did Johnny Bravo.

It's conceivable he may not destroy the Flintstones immediately.

How could he dumb down the flintstones?

Its possible.

And I foresee disaster. Flintstones was good, but it had it's time.

Did he do the old or new Johnny Bravo? Even though their both old by now.

Some things should be off limits.

This is one of them.

I don't care. I don't like the Flintstones, never have. It's just not funny, even as a child I felt like I was wasting my time watching it.

It's crazy how many people can predict the future here.

I'm more worried than certain it will fail. I've seen a couple episodes of The Family Guy. This included things like:
1.) Random bathroom jokes.
2.) A scene in which a kitchen machine goes through a long Rube Goldburg sequence before finally shooting a guy complete with a bullet hole and blood. This was supposed to be ...funny?
3.) A baby that at times talks dirty? What... no.

Okay, some people like this kind of humor. Fine, I understand that. But if he brings any of those things to the Flintstones I will be extremely disappointed. It's like the new movies trend that takes an old show and makes a new movie, often computer animated, out of it. They often add bathroom jokes and garbage like that to it, when that stuff had no place in the originals.

The first drop of blood, or the first bathroom joke, or the first overtly dirty joke, and I will be very bitter at this man. If he does it justice, well then I'll applaud him... but we'll just have to see.

Which part of JB? Early, or late JB with the kid being older, and the dork character?

He didn't create Johnny Bravo; he was a writer and artist for some of the Cartoon Cartoon series, including JB, Cow and Chicken, and Dexter's Laboratory. It was basically the start of his career, and it's hard to say how he's changed since or what his influence on them was.

How about the Jetsons meets Married with children, the animated series?

:lmao:

As long as the original actors from MWC are in it, I can just see Al Bundy selling shoes to Judy and Jane while flerting with them.

i remember a cartoon cartoon, or maybe cartoon sushi cartoon that he did around that time. it was a guy and his dog going to the mall.. reminiscent of peter and brian, but only vaguely.

Dexters Laboratory was Genedy Tartartofsky (no neck joe, power puff girls, samuri jack).. im sure i spelled that wrong.
Johnny Bravo was a Van something or other cartoon.

Yeah, that would be http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Life_of_Larry_and_Larry_%26_Steve. The similarity isn't a coincidence, Family Guy came about when Fox had him make a series based on the shorts.

As long as it doesn't have his voice acting it could be good. I'm tired of his voice for characters, its getting to be like oblivion.

I thought this was a joke when I first saw it, then I started to read it... sadly, I was wrong.
