Hey guys, if a previous thread I came across the OBSE function "setplayerskeletonpath" - Its more or less exactly what im looking for but I cant seem to find any documentation on it anywhere? Has it been removed from OBSE?

I was wandering if anyone could supply me with any information regaurding this, syntax, usage etc. I would really appriciate it :)

it is still in beta. at the moment if you use it, you end up changing both the first and third person skeletons to the same one...which screws up the animations for one of the views (because first and third person uses different animation sets and different skeletons). After you use it, there is no way to undo that change.

scruggs was having trouble with it......but I hope he can get it done soon.

what are you trying to do? maybe there is another way.

Ah that makes sense. Just trying to do a polymorph spell after reading a question about it a few days ago. The options seems to be either change the skeleton using obse, moving a creature to the players feet, making the player invisible and then using scripts to check for movment keys, or turning the morph into a mount and shrinking/hiding the player.

Didnt really like the moveto/invisible player as it was too shakey and not quite right. If setplayerskeleton is permanent then I guess it wont work for a polymorph spell and I will have to look at sadianstorms way of Mounting/shrinking. hmm
