Hey Guys ive been working on this one for a while but i finally found a way to have 3 sets of remnants power armor and the gannon family testla armor in one play through. Firstly, you need to take all DLC's off your new vegas on your harddrive, this can be done by moving them onto a USB or even just deleting them and re-downloading them. Then there will be a set or remnants power armor that DLCs block if active. The location is at an off map location opposite side of nelson (roughly) accessed by swimming up the hoover river. ill give a wiki link for its location: http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Deathclaw_promontory The helmet for this set is in silver peak mine, on the ledge, (in the big cave area.)

The next set or should i say sets are all in the same quest. which is this: http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/For_Auld_Lang_Syne This quest is complicated and very contradictory. But before entering the remnants bunker, heres some preparation, leave your stuff (bring one good weapon atleast like the ycs/186 ) at a house eg. novac, lucky 38. Have speech 80+ (i think, you could get 100 to be sure.) Using the wiki link, activate For Auld Lang Syne.

In the bunker:

You will be directed to go into command room, make sure you are prepared. Now in the command room instruct you want to help NCR, and orion moreno will be a drama queen and leave. Talk to him outside the command room and pass the speech 80 check about the enclave going in guns blazing. then arcade will come up to you and tell you he has to go do something. Now go into the command room and get a set of remnants power armor from daisy. As soon as you get your armor kill moreno for the armor he is wearing, be cautious everyone but henry attacks you. I usually knock morenos gattling laser out of his hands and use it (when i do this unarmed.) But if you have a good weapon then you should be fine. After killing moreno the quest will fail. in the vertibird's cell wait for roughly 4 days and then proceed to leaving to the forest area. Outside arcade will talk top you and you can convince him to give you the gannon family testla armor.

However the remnants will not appear at hoover dam. (i think anyone tested this?)

Not really an exploit. You don't have to get rid of the DLCs because I have them and I still got that extra set of RPA. I didn't kill Moreno cuz I wanted to actually do the quest and I ended up with two sets of power armor.

Why would I want 3 sets of Remnant Armor? One is good enough. This seems like a lot of work.

That's no exploit. The RPA at the Deathclaw area as well as the Silver peak Mine are known and killing Moreno, wow you must be desperate for that 3rd piece, instead of finishing the quest right.

And as far as I know, you don't need to delete the DLCs in order to get the APA at the Promontory. It doesn't appear sometimes due to a glitch, but if that happens, then you can just wait three days and it will appear (but all the deathclaws will re-spawn, so be careful where you wait).
