Settlement clearing?

While settlement building, maybe for the Wasteland Workshop DLC, could we get more freedom to clear brush and debris? Specifically the old, dead bushes and such. I'm really less concerned about what I get from scrapping them, I just want to clean the place up. The tall hedges in Sanctuary are absolutely maddening when trying to get a good, solid wall built. The underbrush just provides great concealment for anything sneaking around, plus it just looks cluttered. Granted, it's mostly my OCD kickin in, but I'd LOVE it if I were able to more completely clear the area before getting things started for the settlers. Thanks!

One step close for this came to become more like a post-apo Rust.

Only way to clear stuff like that is with mods - and they can bring their own problems.

Not being able to clean up bushes sticking up through the floor is the part that annoys me the most, and not being able to clean up the place properly makes no sense. I really hope they add a feature to do so..

I know there's an mod which lets you do all of this, but i don't want to rely on mods on stuff like this, in case bethesda does something and it will mess up my game.
