Settlements without dead bodies

Post » Fri Mar 11, 2016 10:23 am

I have decorated Red Rocket station 3 times now.. Really wanting to move on..

In spite of the beautiful places in the game for settlements.. The ones I have seen all

have dead bodies in them..

Are there any that don't?

Thanks :)

red rockets moles can be moved

spectacle island does not have any, nor do the ones below

hangmans alley is good

covenant

Jamaica plain

lighthouse

oberland station

zimonga

slog

tenpines

warwick

murkwater

country crossing

Abernathy farms

greentop

coastal cottage

egret tours

boston airport

bunker hill

the castle

sunshine no, as they respawn. there is a ghoul on a table I removed the table, moved ghoul, yep he respawns where the table was, but now he is floating in the air

and most of the all homes there, ditto, so I close those off and build in the middle and up

starlight drive has skeletons, now I just build up over them, and leave the area below for farming

croup they even stick between floors and I have one that stands upright

Yes but if you usher Dogmeat out quickly he will not "find" them.. No molerat holes for me..

I love that island, but it is not for low characters..

On PC I just use the console to get rid of any unwanted bodies / skeletons. Of course, if you play on console, you will have to wait for a mod that do the job.

Starlight Drive in have a few skeletons, but you can use a broom to sweep them away.

just missed my edit hehe :)

Anyways, if a place only have skeletons, a broom or mop, held in hand, can "sweep" them out of the place. It takes some patience, but can be done :)

I like RR, for a few reasons, and had 2 builds live there. For an actual settlement; crops and such, I always ended up back at Sanctuary. The flies are the only bodies initially and they seem to clean-up (or are easily dragged to the river). There's the perma-mongrel at the end of the bridge... Thinking about it though, I don't think I've ever seen bodies at Abernathy. Even after attacks.

not with a console, they are stuck, I build around the water, then up, plant those small tree everywhere, looks good and works for me

I got tired of those bones popping thru my floors

Jamaica plain -had a dead body that I could not move "this is too heavy for you"

I should have said I don't want a settlement with settlers.. They steal your stuff and sleep in your bed..

Thanks for this list. :)

So with Cryolator and 10mm you could swim there at level 1?

Molerats in RR disappear. They did in every one of my plays. You may want to be absent for few days for that to happen.

Bodies which are too heavy to be garbed can be pushed by using other, lighter items which you can grab (pillow for example). Same for some objects which you can't grab at all like skeletons. However I am not sure it they don't reset their position. Theoretically as long as they are inside settlement limits, they shouldn't.

Spectacle Isle has 6 or 8 corpses spread around the isle, one right next the the ruined house.

I am sure these have no corpses - putting in spoilers

Spoiler
. Your best bet would be the Home Plate in Diamond City. It is very private and you can decorate to your heart's content. You would also be okay at Graygarden because robots don't steal your bed. Pretty sure that Egret tours Marina doesn't have any corpses but there is only one person there and the place is huge. Hangman's Alley has hanging corpses (raiders put there).
