Hello there! I have a little issue with my settlers down at Sanctuary so I've been playing Fallout since release and built myself a little hub at Sanctuary I managed to get it up to 80% happiness, then the next day for some reason it started going down rapidly till it was at about 40, so I tried giving more food, water, lights, power, defence, they have everything they need even decorations and lots of chairs and shacks and stuff! so I was just wondering if anyone can help me solve this problem?

P.S it will go to about 68 then drop back down to about 50 then go back up it's driving me crazy!! xD

I believe if you go to your settlement and go into workshop mode, it should have your numbers (beds, water, food, defense etc). The number which they say is low should be in red.

Oh yea I know that it's all in the green etc, idk maybe it's a glitch? thanks for trying to help though I appreciate it!

With me, everything seemed to work fine, happiness and all that. Then at some point, when ever im out pretty far from sanctuary, I look in my pip boy and it say they have no power,food,def ect.. so I fast travel back and look and everything is just fine. The happiness was in the 80's at some point now seems to stay around 50. It goes down while im out exploring because it says they don't have water power ect.. Seems glitchy to me.

Do you have all settlers assigned to jobs? Unemployment isn't great for anyone

Also try crafting the stores, they always get me above 85% when i've got 4 or more

Maybe they programmed it to give us a taste of what they go through....everyone's happy to be here at first then the complaints start rolling in and you can't please everyone no matter what you do.

Yup no water or defence when I'm away it's so annoying >
