Settlers Flagged as Netrual Party Instead of Allies

I can't be the only one that finds this to be the most frustrating thing in the world. For those who don't understand what I mean, settlers at your settlements don't fall into the same guidlines as priority allies or companions. How they currently are is as if they are let's say a random diamond city citizen. It essentially leads to huge frustrations when your settlements gets attacked. Whether it be you accidently shooting one, unable to use explosives, or even not being able to use pacify skills to avoid the risk of acidently pacifying a settler. Unlike companions and certain flagged allies, settlers will instantly attack you through any small mistake during a conflict at a settlement. This is something that seriously needs a change and not some mod but an offical fix.

Very much agreed! Even using VATS is ridiculous during settlement defense as you have to cycle through ten settlers to get to the two or three raiders. And God Forbid it's something fast like a Radscorpion that is fast enough to get you while you're cycling through all your "friends."
