Settlers going on the offensive

Post » Sun Feb 07, 2016 7:43 am

I've established a substantial base at Red Rocket Truck Stop, with 20 or so settlers. Some of them will occasionally pull out their weapons, assume an offensive stance, and go to a particular corner of the settlement, the northeast corner. They pause there briefly and then head back to their previous occupation, to repeat a little bit later. I've looked for hostiles in a large radius and eliminated them. Any suggestions on how else I might fix this annoyance?

You cant of course. Maybe Mods...

But its the bed AI we have...

Instead of defende Settlements behind covers and with the support of turrets, your Settlers have this tendency to make suicide attacks out of Settlements limits...

Best to give them good weapons and armor - they're stupid and need it.

My settlers do seem a bit "jumpy" at times. I guess I would be too if I had to deal with daily attacks by raiders and super mutants.

I've taken to giving my settlers armor as well as assault rifles, gauss rifles, miniguns. At level 67 the settlement attacks can be pretty intense.

i just take it as they might have heard a noise in the distance and are just readying themselves for potential attacks. i love it when you're in the middle of a conversation and they suddenly do that. it cracks me up every time.
