Several problems

I have downloaded quite a few mods (and obse) and am having the following probs: Wyre bash smashes whenever i stars the game (minor but still annoying) the sky is bright pink (quite important lol) and WTF im a missing mesh with the sword of several town's guards and loads in the arena :brokencomputer:

is my load order (duh) so ya, pink sky is not the most realistic of colours plz help

Wrye Bash: Right-click header in Installers tab > BSA Redirection
OBMM: Utilities > Archive Invalidation > BSA redirection

Not sure about the Wrye Bash thing. As for the missing mesh: make sure that the MMM.bsa is renamed to Mart's Monster Mod for Fran.bsa. Also, consider switching from Natural Weather to http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1112446-relzbeta-weather-all-natural-thread-27/. Natural Weather has some issues IIRC - and All Natural is excellent, plus you can use Immersive Interiors with it. Win-win.

Also, update Mart's Monster Mod - Diverse WaterLife.esp [Version 3.7b3p3] to http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1105791-relzmartsmonstermod37b3-public-release-3-relz/page__view__findpost__p__16187398.

Sry for being a noob but er, where is mmm.bsa, i cant find it. Also i always unpile all the files from a mod straight into data, that is usually what is says to do but it is weird seeing as there is specific meshes folder but all the mods meshes are just there open

If the mods meshes are out in the open and not in the meshes folder, then your install went wrong. You are using a manual install method, which is very time intensive when troubleshooting. Why don't you use OBMM or better, Wrye Bash to install mods? Then things go right where they belong. Plus mods like MMM are not at all easy to install manually - I am sure you screwed that install up if you can't find MMM.bsa (do you have file extensions turned on in Windows Explorer, by the way?)

Use theNiceOne's OMOD installer script liked ot in the MMM release thread. I repeat, do not install manually, especially when you aren't sure what you are doing. Use OBMM and the OMOD script as they are considered noob-friendly.

No one can tell you where they exactly go, .dds files are textures but you can't just drop them in there. There should be sub folders under the textures folder.

A good example is OOO where some of it's textures are installed into textures\clutter and are named in various ways according to what it's for and what model it is supposed to cover.


Meshes are the same thing you can't just drop .nif files in the folder meshes and expect it to work. Mods have them in certiain folders like this for this exact reason lol so things don't get messy and impossbile to find.

Your best bet at this point is to look into using OBMM or learn to use BAIN

Edit: Forgot to metion you should probally also clean out your enitre oblivion data folder get rid of any .dds files just lying around and delete the meshes and texutres folder and start over.
