Severe performance change from last beta high end rig

Post » Sat Mar 15, 2014 3:37 pm

A good handful of us are talking in game how we've seen a significant reduction in performance from last beta...seems they're going backwards.

All of us have high end systems more than capable of max graphics at 60 fps. Last beta we were getting in the high 60-90s now were getting in he 30-40s....

Something's very wrong here. Anyone else seeing this?

you can test it in:

- interiors (rooms, caves)

- city full of npc/characters example: crafting area

- open land and pvp

I've noticed a performance hit too, around 10-20% less fps and the movement feels less smoother.

Yeah some of the animations are very clunky this is not looking good for a release in two weeks. They went backwards from last beta in performance.

No change for me. Make sure you have the most up to date drivers.

I did not notice any performance change on PTS when this patch went live.

Performance seemed a bit better to me, but I encountered more broken quests, that I did send in bug reports for..

You have a much better rig than me but I haven't had this issue. I had a different issue where I kept being kicked from game, though

I get constant freezes when i'm moving after i PvP in big battles or i play for like an hour. But i blame my 1gb VRAM and it was the same in last beta.

Most of the people who have been having the issues are running high end NVIDIA cards, it's most likely a video card driver issue.
