severin manor music glitch...

Post » Sun May 05, 2013 10:12 am

i finally got this place as my house so i can store stuff while im on solstheim... it looks like a nice place... but its not a very enjoyable house due to the music glitch... instead of normal music, it plays dungeon music because of it being a hostile environment before you get it... is there absolutely no way to fix this?

what makes it even worse is the lighting, especially in the master bedroom, and the mannequins surrounding you as you step inside... not the most pleasant place to live.

anyway, after storing alot of items in the various chests, i decided to sleep, anything to see if it'd fix the music... instead, i see a loading screen pop up and im suddenly taken back to the earth stone to work on it... so i walk away from it, go home, head inside... then go back into my bedroom... only to see the mannequin directly to your right as you enter... moved.

the freaking mannequin was standing almost in front of me as i walked in... that made it even worse, the glitches make this place seem more haunted than the anvil house in oblivion!

i left, re-entered, and the mannequin was back on its platform... still playing dungeon music, of course.

you know, i probably would've found that funny if it was playing normal music, but the dungeon music with that makes the whole thing feel like some kinda horror scene.

also, i am playing on the PS3... so i cant just "magic" it normal with a user-made patch.

Yup, you gotta deal with it. But Jesus, I hate those mannequins.

I believe Mannequins are in fact altered NPCs.

I love my Severin Manor but even before I got it I knew the first thing I would do was disable the mannequins. I don't think there's any way you can fix these on PS3.
