There is some kind of system of running water in Whiterun, check out the screens! We may get sewers.

I hope so!

On my evil characters, that was how I sneaked into the Imperial City.

I hope so!

I play mostly assassin characters, I'd love to be able to sneak around the towns unnoticed.

I think they should have them, or at least some kind of tunnel system in big cities, but I think it should be done in a completely new way.

i loved the IC sewers so i hope there sewers in skyrim.

Well if they DO intend to make a sewer such as the Imperial sewers, I really hope you will be capable of climbing straight out of the murky water in it.. It really svcked when you accidentally fell into the water and you had to swim until you found some stair or something. This only added to the frustration.
once you get the athletic high enough in oblivion ,you could jump out of the water.

Romans spread better ways of building roads/sewer systems. I'd imagine the Imperials did the same. I fully expect sewers in Skyrim, just not like under the Imperial City.

Sewage systems do a lot more than transport poo lol. For example to keep water off of streets and highways, most streets/highways are built with a slight incline starting in the middle and lowering towards the edges, with of course streets in cities and such emptying into sewage systems. It keeps roads clear-ish, and on top of that, keeps populated areas clean. Stagnant water can produce disease, so having a sewage system to empty out into somewhere away from cities, or to be cycled through a water treatment plant is kinda essential (and therefore warrants sewers)

Sewer quests really bored me so I would only really want them to be completely optional as a way to sneak into the city but they would have to be made a bit more useful in that respect otherwise they will be a real waste of the dungeon designers time.

I loved sewer quests. :P

I want them in Skyrim only if there are toilets, sinks, baths etc...

What I like about OB was that they were like convenient escape routes out of the IC. But they were more like houses for rats and goblins and were less pipes and more doors and houses.
