Sewer system

I think that there might be a few in there but hardly as many as Fallout 3.

I'm expecting sewers and flood drainage systems to replace the subways.

I really hope so. I always loved wandering sewers in some of the older RPG games (Heh. Baulder's Gate anyone?). I would love it if there was a complex sewer system (not like the Fallout 3 one) that inter-connected to a bunch of different areas. Some tunnels might be able to take you from New Vegas all the way to a far away town (if they were not damaged by the nuclear blasts nearby New Vegas). Also, some might even lead to a secret base or something hidden away from prying eyes in the sewers. Like francisthemutant said, I'd also love a giant network that you could very possibly get lost inside of, wandering around, desperately trying to find a way out... :ahhh: Maybe something chasing you...

Well as long as there is deadly radiation, dangerous gases, deadly mutants, extremely dark, etc. then it will be way more fun to explore.

I really loved the subway system in F3 and will be said to see no such 'dungeon'esque style of location return.

I enjoyed having to stock up on supplies cos I was going on a week long jaunt through the metro system.

I'd love to see a nomadic tribe of ghouls in the subway system that got lost a hundred years ago, but when they finally got out the sun was too bright for them and their eyes didn't adjust so they had to stay in, wandering from tunnel to tunnel endlessly, never in the same place twice. Or maybe they're blind like those cave fish because they've been in there so long.

Yeah, also be great to set up shop down their, sneaking away at night to prey on the citizens of Vegas. and dragging them back to your lair to become your next meal. Also be nice to have plenty of feral/regular ghouls.

A giant maze, with no wait out and out of the darkness you hear a rasping cry! be great.

Fallout 2 has a town called Redding. It has mine tunnels that has ladders to the surfice in hidden locations, I would like that in New Vegas.

The main reason the metro was such a major part of FO3 is that its encompasses about 2/3 of Washington D.C. proper in real life. Vegas has its own massive underground system, this one of drainage and flood byways. I also don't know why everyone hate FO3's subways so much. Some of the design elements put into the large metro substations were both miraculously alike to the real thing, and gave you the feeling of actual collapsed infrastructure.

In my opinion there should be vast underground tunnels beneath New Vegas (just like in Las Vegas). :)

Milt

i hope they looked at this before they start building the game, epic ghoul city beneath new vegas.

That's what I said. Having been to DC a couple times, I thought the Metro was great.
