Thank you for posting the link. This is one of my favorites of the recent ones because of him saying this:

"What seemed like no more than twenty minutes later, I looked down at my watch--nearly two and a half hours had passed. Skyrim had captured me."

sigh. :)

I think this may just be an mistake on his part. He probably just means improve instead of repair or something.

@Mr Handy .
Yeah confirmed , I just tweeted Pete .

GnrlKhalid
Shack News Skyrim Hands-On Preview , claims you can repair your items at a smith .... Any truth to that ?

I think he got "repair" mixed up with "improve". There is no repair, but it underscores that it has a similar feel.

He had the Ring of Khajiiti and they didn't catch him until 2 1/2 hours had gone by.

It's always a pleasure to wake up in the morning and have something to read about Skyrim while having my coffee.

From the E3 demo and most of the recent previews mentioning riverwood I think its fair to say that riverwood is the first settlement you come across after escaping from prison.

I think it's very frustrating and somewhat stupid that you can't repair armor and weapons... sigh....

No locational damage.
No weapon damage.
No armor damage.
No dismemberment.

My four biggest frustrations/disappointments.

Sitting down in a behind-closed-doors area for press

I think the press area may have had more time than the open demo most had a PAX

as far as I know the public demos were only 20 minutes long. They've only been doing hour long demos with the press.
