Shaddup, already, pt II

Against my better judgment, I did the romance option with Piper. Cait's likeable, but too skanky for romance imo. But as I've noted before, whether they've got 3 or 4 things to say, or just one, the bloody NPC's never, ever, ever stop saying them!

I need a mod, either one that muzzles them, or one that lets you kill companions. And Piper's got to be the worst of the lot.

So I sent her away from my Sanctuary base, to Red Rocket where I exile all the companions I'm done with. She is literally so @#$! annoying that it's not worth the Lover's Embrace perk to keep her around.

Been there IRL, lol. It's bad when you don't even wanna keep them around for that specific purpose ;)

When you've been married as long as I have (going on 18 years in real life), you learn to just tune them out.

Piper doesn't bother me. And Cait, omg, I'd disappoint her in so many ways.

To be fair to the players that are inclined that way, I kind of doubt the male "romance" companions are any more fun to have around. I guess I could try it for role playing purposes... but naah, too weird. I'll make female characters to play sometimes, but for me, doing the romance from the woman's point of view, or something that's not hetero, is the ultimate immersion breaker.

The only reason I ever recruited Piper as a companion was so I could put her in power armor and take her clothes off her. Than I sent her back to Diamond City in her underwear. She annoys me whenever she talks.

I usually travel alone or with console code recruited people.

I've been using the different companions, more to see their quests than for the special perks. Some of it's been fun, but I think I should've stuck with my usual lone wanderer thing. There are so bloody many of them, I'm at level 50+ and still haven't gone through all of them. It gets to be a distraction from the rest of the game.

If I'd known about the other romantic female option sooner, I might have gone that route, but I didn't realize it was an option until much too late...
