"Shadowdancer" build - help!

So,

some of you might be familiar with the Shadow Dancer Prestige Class from the Forgotten Realms ( http://forgottenrealms.wikia.com/wiki/Shadowdancer ).

While it is obvious to take Sneak up to Shadow Warrior and Illusion for Muffle/Invisibility, the question remains what perks/Skills would support the build niceley.

In my opinion, the Shadow Dancer should use Swords instead of daggers. But what about Dual Wielding? Do you think it suits the playstyle, or should I rely on repeated Invisibility-Casting + Backstabbing (with the Sword)? Actually yes, I think.

Another topic is alchemy. It somehow doesn`t feel right to craft poisons for me; what is your opinion about the subject? Would you spec into the poison branch of alchemy? Or just concentrate on the beneficial potions (invisibility potions obviously; fortify sneak, fortify onehand etc.pp.)? I am not really sure what to think here.

Then; what`s about enchanting? Fire - and Shockenchantments are out off the window for me, they are to flashy. But somehow, I associate "Shadows" with "cold", there for "Frost" would fit, don`t you think? Or perhaps the silent moon enchant, too?
What enchantments would you put on the Shadowdancer`s gear? Fortify Sneak is overkill.

And finally, Archery - I don`t want to use it, though. As backup weapon against dragons, or to lure enemies. yes. But using big bows or, god beware, crossbows seems not very agile, aka "dancy" to me.

However, I am open to suggestions and would really appreciate some ideas! :)

ooo good stuff, i love incorporating FR classes and characters into skyrim, my next build is going to be a "Jarlaxle" of sorts

on to your topic tho,

if i were making this class i would make it a spellsword type build, use one handed weapons with a spell in your off-hand, i would make enchanting my primary crafting skill and use it to boost things like resists and spell cost. i would not wear any armor, so find a set of clothing that matches the look you are going for, something more loose fitting would probably be perfect(such as tavern clothes or redguard clothes). alchemy could be useful for you but i wouldnt rely on it or make it a primary skill, i would rely more on your magic. as far as schools of magic to focus on, i would say Illusion first, not only does it fit the build but it will also give you more combat options and make "dancing" around your opponents a bit easier(using spells such as calm and frenzy for crowd control). also you may want to pick up alteration for the AR boosts and magic resistance
