Shady Dealer

Post » Thu Mar 10, 2011 5:51 am

One of my hopes as a person that play's stealth type character's is that they bring back a shady dealer /dealer's into skyrim.I like knowing that my assassin can get some useful tools for his trade from a shady dealer. :ninja:

What are ur thought's?

I only play as assassins/thieves and I think you should be able to get some sort of private dealer (hopefull atleast three different ones) that give you supplies like knives or arrows if you do specific jobs for them...

They had themin oblivion.

Their called fences.

But I hope their are plenty of non guild types ones like the shady character outside the imperial city.:shifty:
Or the man you meet in the tavern with the evil lair plug in.

Poison
darts
throwing knives
daggers
special spells
lock picks
etc...

I hope we have a nice undercoty with a nice black market.

Well he wasn't wrong. Shady Dealers have been in the game even in Oblivion and I'm sure they will still be in Skyrim in some incarnation.

Preferably there'd be several, I'd like to see a black market, with multiple different people involved, with different roles within it. And not just stealthy theifs/assassins, I'd like enforcers, thugs, and bandits. It would be awesome if they could be a joinable guild

I'm getting a little off topic....... D'oh well..... :sadvaultboy:

Im sure they'll upgrade in skyrim, the one from oblivion shady sam needed to carry better stuff after awhile his items after a time get alittle weak besides lock picks but those arent hard to come buy just kill bandits.I was thinking of the shady dealer because i wasnt sure if want to make my own poisons when i make my assassin in skyrim. I might do smithing and enchannting hmmm not sure.

I really do want to see more hooded figures in taverns, but not to the point where every single tavern in Skyrim.

I think they should be in small inns across the countryside and in small villages, seeing how bigger cities would have better security.

Agree, that would give playing the shady type char a more underworld sort of appeal. :ninja:

I preferred it in Morrowind where there were just certain merchants who had somewhat less ethical views on merchandise (for instance, person's who would buy moon sugar or skooma and those who would not). Of course, preferably there would be some way of locating them. Perhaps through latest rumors topic or direct inquiry with the risk of a disposition hit if you ask a more lawful person. Or a fine if you were so wise to ask a guard.
