Unfortunately it seems that the text on the Eye is not the same as that presented by the mage script.
And while I think someone has already taken a look, I gave my hand a try with Shalidor's work. Each section of text is separated by spaces and is ordered from left to right, starting at the top and moving down the text and surrounded by brackets. science fiction-y vibe. Any Sci-fi buffs out there?]

bit of script is the script we see on the Eye of Magnus. And what's
more, is that it has the appearance of being the exact same body
of text that is in English above, where Shalidor speaks of the
dragons.
The major problem is the illegibility of the supposed "Magus" script.
Many letters share a close resemblance and either look like part of
the letter has been erased away or has minor changes. If we could build
a lexicon of unique occurrences of each symbol, then we might have a good
start. Right now though it looks like there are more unique symbols than
possible letters in the alphabet.]
