shame on ign re skyrim

Post » Fri Sep 30, 2011 9:34 pm

they put an article about some game that is the skyrim killer, something like it will eat skyrims face, i personally find articles that are combative like that to be stoopid. i'm gonna buy skyrim and i'm gonna buy that other game too, simple as that.

now regarding the play till dead idea, thats exciting but not realistic, in FO3 i remember exploring, walking up an hill only to find a gang attack and kill me. i am pretty sure tes games are not designed for play till dead.

now if it was a nerfed game like wow then yes you could play hardcoe cause you would know the level of the mob u attack before you approach him. and you have a radar too, kinda silly now that i think about it. imagine walking down the street and having a radar where u could assess the level of people around you.

if the load time is okay then i'm gonna buy it for the ps3 since my xobx is the loud jasper chip model, i dont like the idea of modding the game to give me better armour or modding some bikini clad 20th century dame, i also dont like the idea that it is possible and thats because i remember playing morrowind and loving that game, when i learned about "savegames" and "mods" where you could have a level 1 character with Instant superfast walk it ruined the game for me cause i just speedwalked everywhere and outran any monsters. so the consoles wont have that worry, i'll play the game the way the tes gods intended me too.

i am sure the tes gods did now want me casting 10,000 watermelons in oblivion.

i also learned that bethesda is the name of the software makers but did you people know bethesda is actually a location in maine? thats pretty cool, if i become rich i will start a company called pennsylvania software! teehee!

It was Dark Souls they were referring to as eating Skyrim`s face. Anyone with a pinch of sense would just ignore this type of article as they cannot be compared in all seriousness.
There`s also been a few threads already on this.

Hi there.

It's IGN. You don't even need to complain about them, everybody hates IGN.

If you're talking about the Dark Souls article vs Skyrim... Its a joke! It was just meant to get attention for Dark Souls, which is an awesome game in its own right.

The guy who wrote that piece has been talking about it quite a bit on his 24 hour live preview of Dark Souls. Rest assured he didn't mean it, he thinks Skyrim will be a great game as well, so please dont track him down and burn down his house guys

The Elder Scrolls have some pretty interesting Trolls in them.

And on the subject of IGN. First three letters in "ignorant."

What the [censored] did I just read.

Oh and, while it may not be a "Skyrim killer", DS will be an amazing game. If you can't see that... wow.
