If you neee someone to do 1) a few interiors 2) specific scripts I could off a small measure of help. My time is somewhat limited though with my companion & new body model projects.

Indeed, it has been in the works for a very long time. I can attest from first hand experience, the years have not been wasted. It really is something special. Thanks for the support.

These screens look like some of the terest houses around england, and they look really well made.
Just curious, but is the whole mod done in interiors?
Im really liking the look of this mod and i would love to help out, but ive just got too much on my plate at the minute.

Wonderful concept. Wonderful structures. Consider me another supporter.

I can't wait for the relz. No skills in modding but that may change in a few months time. ;]

Keep up the great work, and by all means if it is within your capacity, please continue work on this mod.

Thanks! Most of the meshes were made by Barabus. I believe Shannon made the fences that you see in the screenshots. The entire mod is, indeed, built in interior cells.

I have been working on this cell for a few days. It is partly based on Queen Square in Bath. Some of the inspiration also comes from my old home in the West Country.

Wonderful concept. Wonderful structures. Consider me another supporter.

Thanks, Yombie! Most of the work on this mod was done by Shannon and Barabus. Currently a small team are working on adding new exterior cells like the one you see in the screenshots, adding quests, and building new interiors.

What limitations are there to designing the whole thin in interior cells? Other than having no landscape editing

It is not possible to move seamlessly from one cell to another. That is to say, you always need to add a door of sorts in order to allow the player to move from one cell to another. Also, as streets, plots of land etc. consist of meshes you will have more meshes in a typical scene than in a similar environment which is set in an exterior cell. Still, the average framerate in this mod I'd say is high - I usually get 60 FPS walking through the streets.

*snip* I usually get 60 FPS walking through the streets.

Which is IMO, a major selling point. Any one area of this city is much more vibrant and active than the whole of balmora which as we all know usually gets terrible framerates.

You could use a script like I am now using for a cave in my mod where you bump into a invisible wall and it loads the next cell. Or have you already thought of that?

Do invisible doors that you activate count?

Well yeah, that works fine. But with the help of some very helpful forum users i was able to attach a script that loaded the cell when you bump into the invisible wall. Just thought you might find that more immersive

The Obelisk is a mesh by MJY which I retextured. Also seen in these screenshots is an 'experimental' new door texture pasted onto a 2D mesh.

(I used the same technique for one of the doors in my 'Common' architecture retex.)

Cool to see MJY's meshes getting some attention, I think his resources are often overlooked.

New screenshots from our 'Queen Square' cell. It's still being tweaked, but most of this will probably remain as it is.

Well, I can't really help with the modding, all i have ever done is make minor changes to mods I have been using to avoid or resolve conflicts.

I certainly would like to see this completed!!!

I like the screenshots I have seen so far, very moody and almost creepy in some cases.

You get the feeling there could easily be some nasty "things" hidden in some dark corners.
