[Small-RELz] Shard Lamps and Rocks

Post » Sat Nov 06, 2010 1:35 am

Well the wild hair I had when I started to work on these fell out a couple weeks ago so there's been very little work done. There was a lot more I wanted to do but I lost the motivation to do more for the time being. I added and cleaned that last bit I worked on so this small pack could be released.

There's several different rocks of varying sizes complete with a different range of colors. Icons included for the lamps, floor lamps and rocks as well. Everything can be made "Light" objects in the CS.

- Enjoy

EDIT: If you're having problems with the crystals "hitching" around the CS, download the file again as it contains fixed crystals.

Wow, really nice job on the lamps Ghostnull. I just might have to replace the lights in the mages guild in the Wolverine Hall Renovations mod I've been working on with these beauties. :goodjob:

Thanks for the comments everyone, glad you like them. As I said there was a lot more I wanted to do and I still will, just as soon as another wild hair sprouts up :P

@Midgetalien: Those older ones are crap compared to these. I know Forgotten Halls is your mod, but I almost encourage you to replace the old stuff with these instead :)

I seem to have a strange problem with these - when I place the crystals (the rocks) and try to check the light radius (or save some changes done to them and try to work in the render window) they move to a different location (all shards appear in the same point; trying to center on them by choosing their IDs from the object list centers on the old location) where I can select them, but any move returns them to their original position.

Anyone has any ideas what could be the cause?

Err, sorry about that. Had that problem early on when testing and thought I fixed it :brokencomputer:

It's fixed now though but if you had managed to work around the "hitching" in the CS, the crystals will need to moved again as they changed orientation. At least they won't cause problems in the future...

I updated the first download link with the fixed crystals.

Thanks for the quick fix

Fortunately, I have only placed a few of these before the update ;)
