Title says it all. Lots of people say that the dragons get boring and tedious. So this is a thread for those of us who really enjoy fighting dragons, and have tales to share.

Ever fought two dragons at once? What was your first ancient dragon kill like? Have you ever been so stuck on a dragon fight that you've raged? Share your stories here!

I defeated a Frost Dragon on master recently after three attempts. It was outside Windhelm. I forgot to save and fell off the bridge...

If there was something exciting.

It would be when I was walking with Ulfric to the monastery.

A dragon attacked, and I'm telling you. Ulfric jumping on the dragon's head, smiting his axe in the beast's skull. Laughing like an absolute badass.

My favorite are in town, with the dragons landing on buildings. Most memorable was in Winterhold, but I was playing a pretty strong character at the time so wasn't in any danger. Playing with one of current characters, my explorer, is the most exciting I've had. She hits hard but has no armor or magic resistance and has only 100 in health. I also didn't expect to be getting Ancient Dragons at level 41. Wrong! They can easily put me down with one hit and it takes me like 6 hits to put one of them down. Very exciting. Very challenging. Stood behind many a tree shaking. :D

One of my favorite parts is when they crash into the ground and leave a long trench from the crash.

The thing about having over 1000 hours in is that... there are so many memorable moments that you just can't remember anymore.

Without a doubt it was the two dragons at the forgotten vale lake. That was the most epic.

Other than that, it was the one and only time a dragon attacked whiterun. Only happened once but happen it did.

Well mine was also my first one (after Mirmulnir). I was climbing to High Hrothgar when I got near that cave-thing with the snow troll, then, a frost dragon came down and started attacking it, the troll helped but after killing the dragon he betrayed me :D . I was level 5 I think.

Traveling north from Whiterun to Solitude I happen upon Elder's Blood Peak. I slay a Blood Dragon there and when it dies, for some reason, I don't receive its soul. Not only that, but its flesh doesn't disintegrate. It just flops to the ground, wholly intact. Whatever, I carry on.

Coming back from Solitude to Whiterun I take the same route, but something's different this time. The Blood Dragon's corpse is gone, and an animate skeletal dragon is sitting on the word wall as a normal dragon would. At first I assume it won't respond since it's probably some sort of spawning glitch (like when dead enemies stand upright and allow you to pass through them), but no, when I draw near he takes to the sky and a fight ensues. I slay him and still no soul. The glitch was so weird that it felt scripted, but I know it wasn't. I was playing on PS3 at the time and have never had it happen to me since.

Must have fought a weird, soulless dragon necromancer.

My most memorable dragon battle probably had to be the Forgotten Vale battle with the twin dragons Voslaarum and Naaslaarum.
