Well I've seen threads upon threads of people arguing over the composer of the game and whether or not Jeremy Soule can deliver an appropriate score. Since we aren't getting any new music out of Bethesda right away, I figured it'd be cool if we could share our favorite music tracks which remind us of what - or what we hope, Skyrim will sound like.

As an avid fan of Celtic music, I'm going to start with this self-styled "Pagan" composition by one of my favorite artists, Adrian von Ziegler. His music is mostly oriented towards gothic stuff, but he also dabbles in Celtic and Norse-sounding music. This track in particular begins to distinguish from "generic Norse war drum" stuff at 1:20 or so when a single woodwind begins to chime in (a lute?). I definitely hear this in my head as I imagine the Dovahkiin wandering alone through a thick forest in the early morning as the first rays of sunrise enter the wood. I hope Soule's music for this game will have a more somber, but also more light and melodious feel to it.

I do like lots of music styles,but metal is so well suited for Skyrim IMO,even tho it will never be in it. Heck 90% of my favorite bands are from Scandinavian territories.
