Sharp armor: a complete set possible?

Post » Wed Jan 27, 2016 8:34 am

Is sharp armor supposed to come in a complete set: chest and 4 limbs? I'm up to level 77 and have finished the main quest, and have gotten only left arms and right legs: 2 sharp left arms and 3 sharp right legs. I need a complete set so I can maximize my charisma. With summer shorts (+2 CHR), formal hat (+1), black-rim glasses (+1), and 4 limbs of sharp armor (+4), my 11 CHR, and chems like green mentat (+5), day tripper (+3), x-cell (+2), and a gwinnett-brand beverage (+1), I could have 30 CHR and 40 settlers in a settlement!

Wow.

Don't know what the stats are for which armor pieces can have which legendary effects....

I love using VATS, I wouldn't mind a complete set of VATS enhanced or Powered items.

A complete set of Assassin's would be pretty good, too.

Now my farming-legendary itch is begging to be scratched again. Thanks a lot. ;P

Hmm... I never counted my charisma gears but I have quite a few, I will have to check at home..

Never realized these things help gathering more settlers, I thought they were mostly for barter and dialogue.

i have 2 sharp, 2 luck, 4 fortified and 3 cunning....

looking for a whole set of cunning, but its hard finding everything in "heavy"... as you dont really need that high charisma later in the game...perception and agility are nice tough if you use a lot of vats

+charisma drugs / clothing helps you when moving settlers to your settlement as it increases max population (but only if you actively move them there)

With the main quest done, the only thing worth playing for, for me, is the growth of my settlements. The instant you use your CHR-boosting gear and chems, they take effect immediately and the settlers limit for ALL your settlements is raised to CHR plus 10 right then and there. Chems only last a few minutes, of course, so the only way for your settlements to take advantage of the raised limit during that short time is to send settlers to those settlements yourself. Make sure you have two settlements that are close by. If you work fast, you can send out all settlers, run to the other settlement (not fast-travel), and send all the settlers there too. That was how I got Sanctuary Hill and Spectacle Island both to 34 settlers in only about 5 minutes (real time). Some chems are rare, so you gotta move as many settlers as you can each time. Now I'm hoping to find more sharp armor pieces so I can raise the limit further. For the larger settlements, having only 20-23 settlers is kind of a waste of space.

Also left arm and right leg? I'm just wondering if the other limbs exist at all for the sharp armor.

I'm like 98% sure that I have pieces for 3 of the limbs, I have 5 in total but some were duplicates. Will check when I'm home

I may have to resort to using console commands to create my own sharp armor items if they are this hard to find.

not hard, just random - i mean there are how many different armor and weapon legendary combinations? right.... so the chance for you getting the right thing is probably very low

Right. These aren't unique pieces of armor, just random legendaries.
