No shave November

Post » Sat Jan 22, 2011 1:20 am

In honor of Skyrim's November release date, who will let their manliness show through no-shave November? Presuming you start on Nov. 1st, you should have a decent beard by the 11th, which will then grow into a beautiful face-mane while you are traversing the mountains of Tamriel throughout the majority of November. For the true Nordic adventurers, starting even earlier will just add to the immersion.

Blimey. The idea of the sheer number of assorted tickly and scratchy chins, legs and what have you makes me feel sorry for partners and spouses everywhere. :o

Sure, but I'm 16 and can't get much of a mane :sadvaultboy:. I could pull of a somewhat acceptable beard and mustache..............does that count for anything?

I haven't shaved in years, having a beard is great.

It does make eating BBQ wings rather difficult though. Admittedly that's the mustache's fault, not the beard, but there are very few people who can pull off a beard without a mustache.

an unfortunate side effect, but for me, it makes it worth it when i think about all of the frothy draft glistening on my manliness after a day of work. The essence of being a viking

Its a start. Start eating more red meats/ proteins, and foods that naturally boost testosterone (like broccoli) and you may see some results by November

I have been letting mine grow for about a month or so now. I dont know if I will be able to keep it until November, only a month in and I am getting a bit bored of it.

I haven't shaved since Christmas, but probably will in June for graduation. After that, it's back to growing again.

Don't worry. I'm shaven haven all over. Besides, when push comes to shove, the dragons will think I'm one of them so I'll be able to infiltrate them better.Oh and cuddle with the ladies in the afternoon, but that's a minor detail.

In honor of Skyrim?

For me, it would just be in honor of laziness...

I think I'm just gonna keep the beard stubble. My place of employment probably wouldn't be too thrilled if I didn't shave for a week and a half.

Do we shave November 1st in the morning or October 31st at night?

Just think of it this way, you have some leftover for later.

And I agree my friend accidently had a spasm with his hand when he was clipping his mustache and cut half of it off, so he had to cut the other half, now he looks wierd with just the goatee.

I'm not sure there will be beards in Skyrim. In the tabern screenshot, the innkeper seems to wear one, but if you look closelly, it looks like the typical Oblivion "beard". Someones sayd also, that the player in the video has a beard but I can't see that either.
