For some inexplicable reason (perhaps just my insanity), the mods makes me want Corn Pops. You ever had Corn Pops? They're a lightly sweetened pufffed corn breakfast cereal. They're close to the top of my list of things I really, really want, but just can't have. Some things are on that last due to lack of suppliers within walking distance. Others are on there because they're still "in development," as we say in the biz. Regardless, they're things I don't have. And they're things I really, really want. So, here's to Sheogorad, the Forsaken Breakfast Cereal. Cheers.

Nothing new to report. Our forums have been in limbo for a while now.

My computer still cannot play games due to the annoying problem of not being able to install a driver for my graphics card.

I had that problem too. Had to lay the case on its side and press the card down real hard to get the drivers installed. That's the downside with tower-cases. You might wanna give that a try.

thanks for the advice, but I actually have a laptop. However, it might still be worth opening it up and checking it out.

Be patient, padawan. Phitt is quite active. He probably just isn't working on this right now, or is perhaps waiting for someone else, so it would be pointless in updating.

I hope so, it's been quite a while since we've heard from him or had an update. If he's given up on this thing so be it, but I hope he'll at least release what he's got so far.

Still working on it, just needed a break. I started playing the game two months ago and so I was more interested in making gameplay tweaks. But now I'm back working on Sheogorad. Still landscaping, still as annoying as it was before. Still not much left to do in that regard though. I think the motivation will come back once the landscaping is done and I can start adding creatures, NPCs, make small tweaks here and there, finish the dungeon interiors I started etc. What a big fun that would be instead of placing tiny rocks and mushrooms all over the place.

Totally understand. Glad to see you back at this though! And a big thanks to those game play tweaks. They'll definitely improve the Sheogorad---and entire Oblivion---experience.

And do you still want some dungeon layouts and concepts for anything? I was doing some Dwemer ruin concepts for Lady Nerevar, and since I had the art stuff out I'd thought I'd ask....

Nice SpeedyB! I'm really starting to miss OB and this project especially. When my computer gets fixed and I find some time, I will definitely continue working on this.

Phitt, could you perhaps show us a new screenshot once in a while? You used to update your Photobucket page regularly, but it's been quite a while now :(

Currently I'm landscaping...and landscaping and landscaping and landscaping. :twirl:

Most people are interested in new, cool looking visuals. But the modeling is more or less done. Guess there is no point in making more screenshots of the landscape, the villages or Dwemer/Velothi/Daedric dungeons.

I will make a new landscape video once all of it is done including LOD and once it has been populated with creatures.

And maybe SpeedyB will show some of his Dunmer Stronghold interiors once I've made all the normal maps and once he's done with Rotheran or another stronghold.

Okay that's good to hear :)

On a slightly different note, I've made this suggestion before but I don't know if you remember it. There was a small (one tent) Ashlander camp in the Sheogorad region and from the screenshots you've shown it looks like you've included it, as seen here:
http://img809.imageshack.us/img809/5594/ashcamp.jpg

But wouldn't it be better to make it a bit bigger? I know that the sister mod (can't remember its name) showed some nice screenshots of the bigger Ashlander camps from Morrowind:
http://img594.imageshack.us/img594/1429/screenshot1252.jpg

After all, the Ashlanders are no longer exiled pariahs, it would be logical for them to have expanded their little camp. Plus, the model and textures are already made so you wouldn't need to start from scratch.

I hope you'll consider my suggestion, personally I think it would be really nice to see a bigger Ashlander camp with more Ashlanders (to trade with perhaps) than just the one little tent.

Anyway, keep up the good work guys :)

EDIT: I just noticed the link in SpeedyB's signature :D

That could be an interesting idea. It would be a good way to add some quests to the mod. It will probably have to wait for the next release though.

Once the stronghold tileset is merged in and a new esm is out I will be starting on rotheran. It will be a functional arena, a bit more simple than the IC arena but it should be fun.

On a slightly different note, Phitt, any plans to release the village shown on your Photobucket page? It looks really great and I always hated the fact that in Oblivion you either had these huge walled cities or really small (one farm and two stables) settlements in the middle of nowhere.

Oblivion really needs some medium-sized towns :)
