So I found this on another thread and this effectively kills the dragon hunt quest in the Jerall Mountains I had planned. But that is alright, it is entirely up to the authors what they do with their assests and I will of course respect their wishes.
I do not allow the copy/paste of my mods into other mods, also all Assets not the property of Bethesda (the Akatosh Dragon Mesh) or the Textures (MysticHybrid) are the sole property of Stormfront Studios and Saiden Storm (AKA Kevin Tolbert) and are NOT free to use, redistribute, alter or convert.
This all got me thinking. I was contemplating the possibility of an underwater town as the next town as it has not been done in Oblivion. This would tie nicely into a quest to find a http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/fms/Image.php?id=53704 from the Wogs! mod, then I looked at the http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/fms/Image.php?id=52939 from that mod and I am sure some resizing, a bit of manipulation of the model and some retextures would create a good dragon, so maybe the Jerall Mountains thing can be done after all.
What do you all think?
Maybe you could also add new travelling traders that ONLY GO BETWEEN your towns.
Good idea! Also it would be great to have some items for sale that are unique.
Gee, my border collie is perfectly content to lie at my feet while I type away at my computer. My Aussie on the other hand seems to prefer curling up on my lap with one of the cats, generating typos every time she moves her head. :twirl:
You are lucky! Maybe I can trained my border to do that.
Anyhow, have you thought about using stage directions like in a script [movie or play] to convey emotions?
Like,
"I think you should stop right there" [menacing]
"I think you should stop right there" [giggling]
and so forth. I don't think I've seen the convention used in games very much, so it may be jarring; but it's fairly simple....
Stage directions is something I hadn't thought of, but that could work very well actually. In fact I think that would help give much more character to my NPCs. I have one character that is basically a giggling, vapid, hussy of a girl and her character just didn't come across well at all, but now it does. Thanks!
By the way, what did you end up doing to fix your display problem?
I deleted the ini file and updated my drivers and it is all much better ingame and on my desktop.
