Ok, I could swear at one time the shield would stay UP for a block even when you were are walking forward (or back or what ever).

But now the shield is lowered when I start to walk. I just noticed it a few weeks ago. I unloaded all my mods and removed all my PC animations and yet it still happens.

Am I wrong?

...is this how it has always been? I just cannot believe it is as I still can block attacks this way, I mean the damage is not applied and you hear the block sound effect but the shield stays down.

????? so I just checked this in first person and THE SHIELD IS UP! So this is only an issue in third person.

It has to be an animation right?

But I emptied my animations folder, and if it was a BSA it would need the mod loaded for the bsa to load .... I think.
