I am in the process of making a quest. The player signs on as ships crew, goes inside the ship, sits and eats with the crew, the door is locked so he can't get back out on deck (ship is moving and his job is to guard the cargo - keeps the reasoning tidy) but at some point after sailing I want to simulate a storm and have the player knocked out.
Scripting to have thunder sounds etc come on at a set time is easy enough. Its the other simulation effects and the final BUMP, screen goes black. Player comes to (how do I make the player initially dazed)
So:
1. Making it seem like a storm inside a custom ship interior (not an Oblivion ship)
2. Knocking the player out and making it seem real enough
3. Have the player come around slowly and dazed
I am thinking perhaps inebriation? or any other ideas?
