Is it bad that I was surprised to see this article in the paper this morning because I had no idea she was even still alive?

In any case, she (without realizing it) did a lot for America at the time, not to mention helped the entertainment industry grab a hold of the public. Definitely a person who will be remembered for more than being a cute little girl in the movies back in the day.

I was actually surprised she was still alive until today, 80's is still not quite old enough to pass away specially for women who can usually live beyond 90. Sorry to hear of her passing.

A multimillionaire at 4, a Hollywood childhood and still grew up to accomplish great things as an Ambassador and other areas of Public Life.

According to one article, she had the same personality no matter when you met her. Truly an inspiring person. The world is lesser without her.
