Are there any mods out there that will allow beast races to wear cloth shoes as leggings or something? I know there are plenty of mods that add armor to their feet in the form of leggings, but what about those who want to keep their feet unarmored, yet wear something to cover their feet?

That's because armoured boots use the ankle and foot slot, whereas shoes only use the foot slot. Beast races still have the ankle slot open to them, so leggings work.

I recall asking once if there was a mod which added any anklets. I'm surprised there isn't one out there yet, seems simple enough to do. Sorry if this isn't what you wanted Hellmouth.

Okay, I just tried using Adul's Legging's mod on a pair of exquisite shoes, and nothing happened. I tried to make sure it worked by tossing a pair of armored boots in there, and it worked. I also read the readme, and it says nothing about being able to convert nonarmor shoes, like common shoes, into leggings.

Adul's leggings are only designed to work with Armor's. I don't think it was ever mentioned about working with shoes.

That was what I was trying to get across when I was responding to those who kept saying use Aduls. I don't want to wear a piece of armor, I want to wear a piece of clothing on my beast characters, and I was wondering if there are mods that have such ankle cloths, not armor.

There aren't. No one has attempted to make "shoes" for beasts. It would require all new meshes and textures, so it's a bit more complicated than the armor leggings mods.
