Short Story Contest

Yeah, just don't actively try to figure out people's identities. Unless you already voted, in which case go to town. That could be fun; a little "Who wrote this?" kind of thing.

Awesome, though I don't know why one would lick their lips in this situation ;) Just have it in before the end of the month, and you'll be in the first one. And to anyone else, if you are done then send it to me, the judges will look at the first batch on Friday. If you can get it to me on Friday or before then I'll include it.

Ignoring Verlox ;) I agree with Shades. I have but four stories, and I admit that I've only gotten to critiquing three of them and FC4 is the only one who has gotten his final version back to me. Partly my fault... (Mostly my fault)

EDIT: This

was ignored. Then again, I never saw Die Hard, so maybe it's just me :D

I'm curious, how are people progressing with their stories? Have we got lots of inspired writers here, all set to make our life as judges a nightmare?

Oh, I do hope so! :)

How many have entered already/ are planning on entering?

Agh terribly sorry I've been gone. I might have to manage this solely on weekends now. If any of you are in Atomic's RP you'll know the problem, but for the rest of you, I've got a twelve hour schoolday plus an hour or two of boxing plus homework. Zero time, terribly sorry. I started this, so I'm determined to stay involved, but I do not know how much so.

Just be sure to edit the OP so it is clear what the final rules first.

I've been a little busy lately, enough that I haven't been working on my own story (non-contest), but not so much that the contest will be trouble.

Indeed, and if anyone would like to submit a story to me, please do so soon. I'll be editing the OP soon, don't worry (I'm busy reading Catcher in the Rye right now, just trying to fit a post in) We have about four or five now, and we really need some more participants ;)

I don't think I'll finish my story by the end of the month. Maybe next time if we do it again.

It's fine, since we only have four we might extend the due date anyways. Or just put the next ones into the next contest as well  Don't worry about it, but thanks for telling us. If anyone else wants to let us know how they're going, please do so :D Thanks.

How do you think my "The Poet From GreyWatch" would fare? Or does it have to be an original story?

It has to be an original work not posted anywhere else.
