Shot @ while sprinting

Post » Tue Nov 09, 2010 8:52 pm

There are quite a few bugs in C2 MP, but one of the most annoying has to be getting shot at and your sprint being canceled out. This is incredibly annoying for the more agile players. That would be swell if this was looked at in future patches.

If you get shot at while you're in stealth, your energy drops down to zero leaving you with no energy to run.

This is feature.. this makes game harder and more balanced. You cannot run after being shot at this is way games should work all the time.

Hopefully this is something that can be changed in custom games

I dont know if they did this intentionally for '' balancing '', but I can't stand it. In SP if you get shot you can still run, MP should be no different.

I agree. I don't appreciate how your abilities for multiplayer are dumbed down in comparison to your abilities in singleplayer. The cover lean should be there and being shot shouldn't stop you from moving since you're in a suit anyways.

> This is feature.. this makes game harder and more balanced.
Harder for who? Not the person shooting the player of course.

+1 to the topic.

But even without this "feature" players would die too easily IMO.
This Nanosuit is some crap. Even with armor mode it doesn't feel like an armor... but well, it's good for fast-placed gameplay so not that tragic after all.

i cant even count the times i got killed because i stopped sprinting when getting shot and couldnt get around that corner fast enough, countless times and it annoys me every time, if they change that ill be very happy cause overall the MP is good and so is the balance

while i do agree with your points they are valid but they also are wrong in a sense. about the nansuit in single player is not the same nano suit that gets used in the single player missions. i do agree with being shot slows you down. it makes you be more patient and too actually check the area to see if its clear. before you go sprinting down the middle of the street with cloak on which jusdging by your name Black Ops i can tell you still use same tactics you use in a cvall of duty game which really dont work on here seeming as though its a completly different game by a completly different engine. stop telling them to make the game more like the game your good at.

Bad company 2 is the same way- you can't move as quickly (If at all) while being shot. It svcks sometimes, but I guess it's a little more realistic than being able to sprint away while under fire.

BF is an entirely different kind of fps. Crysis 2 is supposed to be fast paced, and when this happens, it slows the game down.

Also, realism isnt exactly top priority here. this is a futuristic game, we have nanosuits.. being shot @ shouldn't phase sprinting.

I agree with OP, sprinting should be able to continue while being shot. I get that if you shoot someone in cloak, it's good for balancing that they lose their energy, but someone who is fully visible and sprinting doesn't need the same kind of balancing applied, especially seeing as all that happens after one stray shot is you become a sitting target.

uh.....hopefully you guyz have played on a variation of servers......there are some servers that alter psecs, like health speed, energy consumption, these are things the server can decide........and let me tell you, there not the exactly the fullest lobbies, if it was at campaign stats, the feline wouldn't kill anyone with a full clip. :(

And obviously you have no idea about tactics and strategy or your arry ass wouldnt be on here telling thhese people to change their game because you can figure out a strategy to get around it. look around then sprint. DONT RUN THROUGH THE MIDDLE OF WALLSTREET WHILE CLOAKED MAYBE. but anyways id love to see what you think tactics are what system you play under.

Judging by the way you responded and how you assume you know how I play, I get the feeling you're very ''special''. Leave this discussion for the grown ups, ok? And just so you know, I'm MVP almost every game I play, so please feel free to blow it out your ass.

And yet you think a game feature (a really obvious one) is a bug.

I don't give a flip if its a bug or not, what kind of masochistic nub likes to be stopped dead in his tracks because he got shot once, oh wait I guess that would be you. I guess they put this in for players that cant shoot targets that move faster than 2 mph.. oh right, because this game was made with console players in mind.. s h i t.. wtf am I thinking.

I was 100% with you until the last sentence. Then f*ck you. If you seriously think that because we play with a stick we are not able to aim correctly, then you are retarded. I'm fed up with trolls, and I do not speak to them anymore. Just know that I have been playing for awhile now, on both console and PC FPS. I definitely know what I'm am talking about.
